Another vacation in Maine that included a visit to this scenic lighthouse. The walk to lighthouse is very scenic though the older we get the further it seems from the parking lot.Full review by westie2

Are dogs allowed on the land outside of the lighthouse?

Good question.... seems I did see people with dogs in the parking area before you enter the lighthouse grounds proper. However, definitely did not see any dogs on the property …
Good question.... seems I did see people with dogs in the parking area before you enter the lighthouse grounds proper. However, definitely did not see any dogs on the property itself. Outside of summer, there may not be any staff there anyway. But best to check with staff if they can be reached. In any case, if a dog has to take a bathroom break, the area before the parking area should do fine.
