We saw 3 lighthouses on this day trip. Nice parking lot and then a short walk to the lighthouse. No fee to park. We didn't walk up the ramp to the lighthose, probably should have. I'll just have …Full review by bigtyke

Another vacation in Maine that included a visit to this scenic lighthouse. The walk to lighthouse is very scenic though the older we get the further it seems from the parking lot.Full review by westie2

This area, according to legend, was named by native Indians because the rock outcropping supposedly looks like an owl. I have to say I have walked the lighthouse area, flown over it and sailed past it and I can not see an owl! However, like much of Mid-coast Maine the coastline is spectacular.
