When is the best time of year to visit Santiago Bay? I was there in July last year and the beach quality was very poor scattered with lots of rubbish and the water not that clean. I know from a few trips to different locations in Philippines that 1 side of an island can be pristine for 6 months and the other side not nice at all. Then that scenario is flipped 6 months later. I assume this is due to the weather, winds, water current etc. What months of the year is Santiago Bay pristine? Thanks

I would suggest that it is better if you are going to rent a motorcycle when you get to the island. If you are going to bring your own car it will cost you Php 1200 fare and you must go to danao port because that is the only port with cargo/ car carrier. There is no public transport in the island.
