Hello Tricia, I'll be bringing my grandson to visit West Point Academy this summer. You mentioned you took a bus to the Academy... is this from New York City? That's where we're coming from (Times Square). Is so, could you please give us more information on how to get public transportation to West Point (round trip). Thank you in advance!

Thank you Tricia! I got a hold of someone at Take Tours via their website help desk. Unfortunately the $46/pp really entails bus trip only. They said that the West Point 1hr15min bus/grounds tour are not included. They said the museum is included; but then again it's always been free! Thank you for guiding me to this site. At least it's an option other than renting a car.

RD, Are you sure you were in the West Point Museum? The Museum is in the yellow brick building behind the Visitor Center. We do not have a Cadet barracks display. It sounds as if you toured the displays in the Visitor Center. The Museum has six galleries, and has quiet a bit more in its exhibits that what you described.
