The suspect, now identified as Brandon Poulos, 46, barricaded himself inside an apartment at the Sonterra Heights on Stone Oak Boulevard.
San Antonio Police Officers' Association president Danny Diaz said “chaotic” is the only way he can describe a shooting that injured seven SAPD officers and left another man dead on Wednesday night.
As of Thursday, six of the seven SAPD officers had been released from the hospital and are now recovering at home.
