Captain Connor McDavid returned from his three-game suspension for cross-checking Vancouver's Conor Garland, and scored a goal in leading his Oilers to a 4-2 victory over the Seattle Kraken on Monday night at Rogers Place.

The Oilers learned that on Monday night, riding a dominant penalty kill and clutch scoring to a 4-2 win over the Seattle Kraken in Connor McDavid's first game back from suspension.

McDavid was speaking to the media for the first time since he struck Garland in the head in the dying seconds of Saturday’s 3-2 loss.
