On Thursday at 12:55 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 10 a.m. for Lane County Lowlands.

The advisory is in effect until 2 p.m. A dense fog advisory is issued by your local National Weather Service office when widespread dense fog develops. When this happens, visibilities frequently drop to one-quarter of a mile or less. These conditions make travel difficult. Take extra caution when on the road or avoid driving if possible.

Fog from this morning has decreased across the region this afternoon. But get ready, as we can expect another round of dense fog and even freezing fog come tonight into Monday morning. Temperatures along and north of I-80 will be floating around the freezing mark. This could lead to roadways, especially elevated surfaces becoming icy.

On Thursday at 12:48 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 10 a.m. for Central Douglas County and Eastern Curry County and Josephine County as well as Jackson County.

A dense fog advisory was issued by the NWS Hanford CA on Monday at 9:47 a.m. Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog for Hanford - Corcoran - Lemoore until noon today. "Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous," states the NWS. "If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you."

On Monday at 9:42 a.m. a dense fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 1 p.m. for Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon, Foothills of the Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon and North Central Oregon.
