If individual campaign donations are any indication, the April 1 race for a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court is already promising to draw massive amounts of spending as majority control of the state’s highest court is once again on the line.

As President-elect Donald Trump prepares to pardon the Jan. 6 rioters imprisoned for their role in the violent attack on the U.S. Capitol in 2021, one of the candidates running for a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court joined the campaign to rewrite the history of what happened that day,

On the ballot: candidates for state Supreme Court, state superintendent of public instruction, and hopefuls in hundreds of municipal and school board elections. They’ll have less than three months to make their case to voters before they head to the polls April 1.
