The Bayfront Park warming house and ice skating rink in Duluth will open for the season on Saturday, January 11. The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation office made the announcement Friday.

Duluth is already a popular draw for Midwesterners on July 4, when fireworks are blown off every year at Bayfront Park. Costumed tribute band Hairball also usually performs in the park on July 3.

After a warmer than average beginning to the winter season, the Bayfront Festival Park's outdoor ice rink opened for the 2025 season on Saturday, January 11th.
