England batsman Harry Brook has withdrawn from the IPL for the second consecutive year, potentially facing a two-year ban.
Brook’s Test career got off to a start, as he amassed 809 runs in his first six appearances, batting ten times with an impressive average of 80.90 and a strike rate nearing 100.
"I love cricket. Ever since I was a young boy I have dreamt of playing for my country and I am extremely thankful to have the opportunity to play the game I love at this level," Brook added.
