Guinea pigs need a fully enclosed area where they can hide and sleep. It should provide protection from cold, damp, sunlight, and extremes of temperature, as well as from any predators.

Lolly the guinea pig has to go under anesthetic to make her sleep while the vets make sure she is healthy. It's down to Lucinda to make sure Lolly is looked after while she is unconscious.
