LONDON – The battle of the teams with woeful winless runs ended with Leicester City snapping their seven-game English Premier League losing run with a 2-1 away triumph which extended Tottenham Hotspur’s own winless sequence to seven matches on Jan 26.

Since the start of December, only Southampton, with eight, have lost more Premier League games than Tottenham's seven, with the Saints also being the only side to concede more goals (25) than Spurs have. If Leicester net another goal and see out victory here though, they'll equal the record of the side sat rock-bottom of the table.

Spurs will be looking for their first Premier League win for over a month when they play Leicester City at 2 pm on January 26. Ange Postecoglou’s side did return to winning ways in the Europa League with a tense 3-2 win over Hoffenheim.
