Looking ahead to next week, a developing area of low pressure, an expanding warm sector, and a strong mid-level jet streak overspreading portions of the central plains and upper midwest will create a favorable environment for thunderstorms, particularly severe thunderstorms, on Monday afternoon and Monday night.
