BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) — 2024 was a brutal year for the Amazon rainforest, with rampant wildfires and extreme drought ravaging large parts of a biome that’s a critical counterweight to climate change.

NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) - Police responded to the area of Portsea St. near Cedar St. for reports of a stolen Amazon delivery truck. According to police, the driver said someone stole his truck while he was delivering a package Saturday evening.

New Haven police said an Amazon delivery van was stolen Saturday in the area of Portsea and Cedar streets while a driver was dropping off a package.

Police are looking for information about an Amazon vehicle that was stolen during a delivery Saturday evening in New Haven. The driver reported the van missing at 5:32 p.m. and police were dispatched to the area of Portsea Street and Cedar Street.
