The unexplained, SUV-sized drones that caused a stir flying over the areas in the Northeast in November and December have returned. As of Sunday, Jan. 25.

They’re baaaaack. The mysterious, SUV-sized drones flying over New Jersey and New York have returned. A brief lull in activity that coincided with flight restrictions imposed by the feds has ended, now that the Federal Aviation Administration lifted the ban.

Large drones have resumed flights over New Jersey and New York, with more than 100 sightings reported in the past three weeks. Enigma Labs documented

The FAA imposed temporary flight restrictions from December to Jan. 19, when drone sightings began to once again increase from Connecticut to New Jersey, according to NBC. NBC reported that U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer confirmed the return of the drones on Sunday, saying, “We have now seen new drone sightings. We’re going to have to look into it.”

Enigma Labs, a company that researches unidentified aerial vehicle sightings, reports it has received over 650+ drone-related sightings since Nov. 20 with a majority in New Jersey. But there are other states with sightings, including New York, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
