Mumbai Police has arrested the prime accused in the Saif Ali Khan attack case. Police claim he is a Bangladeshi national who entered Saif's home with the intention of robbery. The actor was stabbed multiple times by an intruder during Thursday's incident at his 12th-floor apartment in Bandra West,

Shariful Islam Shehzad, a Bangladeshi national who had illegally entered India and was living under the alias Bijoy Das, has been apprehended for allegedly breaking into actor Saif Ali Khan's residence and attacking him and his staff during an attempted burglary.

The accused's motive behind the crime was robbery and a police official said he did not have any prior criminal records.
