BROOKLYN - The NYPD is searching for the suspect believed to have repeatedly set fires in the same area in Brooklyn. Police said the first incident happened on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, just before 11:30 a.m. near 100 Ralph Avenue. The suspect started a fire and then fled the scene, police said.

The NYPD is searching for a man wanted for arson after he allegedly lit several fires outside the same Brooklyn location over the last month.

The 41-year-old victim says he was assaulted on Friday in Bergen Beach after two men tried to offer vehicle repair services, which he declined. CBS News New York's Lisa Rozner reports.
