EVERETT, Wash. — The American Red Cross says a family of five was displaced by a house fire in Everett. It happened Friday morning in a multifamily home on 3rd Avenue Southeast. The Red Cross says it’s impacting one adult and four children. The Red Cross is helping them find a place to stay for the time being.
Police are searching for a man suspected of stabbing a 13-year-old student in Everett on Thursday morning, leaving the community on edge.
An Everett Fire Department spokesperson said the call came in just before 10 a.m. Thursday a crane fell onto a building at 1402 Southeast Everett Mall. The area where the crane fell is currently under construction, fire officials said.
