SAN FRANCISCO — Stephen Curry and Jordan Poole have challenged each other since the Golden State Warriors drafted Poole 28th overall in 2019. They would see who could make more shots in a row in practice and go at it in scrimmages, friendly competition that helped bring out the best in each other.
Green has apologized to Poole — and, as he mentioned, his parents — multiple times before this instance and has taken responsibility. Yet he admitted he feels “kind of in between on certain days” when reflecting on what went down. “You can’t call a man a b-word and push him and not get hit, either,” Green said on the podcast.
