Shares of ITC Hotels Ltd, the demerged hotels arm of ITC Ltd, listed on the stock exchange Wednesday. It listed at Rs 188 on the BSE and at Rs 180 on NSE. It declined 5% to settle at ₹178.60, the lower circuit limit on the BSE.

A special pre-open trading session on January 6 established the adjusted price for ITC shares. On the NSE, ITC’s share price was reduced by ₹ 26 to ₹ 455.60, while on the BSE, the adjustment was ₹ 27, bringing it to ₹ 455 per share, according to the report.

New Delhi, Shares of ITC Hotels Ltd, the demerged hotels business of FMCG conglomerate ITC Ltd, on Wednesday slipped up to 5 per cent in its debut on the stock exchanges. The stock listed at ₹ 188 apiece on the BSE, while on the NSE it began the trade at ₹ 180.
