Reports say the group, said to include members as young as 16, known as Scattered Spider, is involved in the ongoing incident that hit M&S stores and online orders

A cyber attack that began impacting online orders at Marks and Spencer a week ago is still affecting the company and reports suggest the breech is the work of teenagers. The high street firm made customers aware of the incident on Tuesday, April 22, before officially halting contactless pay and click & collect orders on Friday, April 25.

Marks and Spencer has temporarily stopped taking orders from its website and apps as it continues to deal with a cyber incident. Shares in the historic retailer slid further on Friday afternoon after it confirmed the pause.
