A post office in Corpus Christi will be named for the late Robert “Bob” Batterson, a retired U.S. Navy captain.

Batterson was a longtime USS Lexington volunteer and was among the last known local survivors of the Pearl Harbor Attack before he passed in 2023 at 102 years old.
