Vietnam's Party General Secretary and President To Lam left Hanoi for New York on Saturday morning to attend United Nations events, work in the U.S. and then visit Cuba.

Vietnam's president and ruling Communist Party chief To Lam will pay a working visit to the United States next week and participate in the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York,

Party General Secretary and State President To Lam left Hanoi on Saturday for the UN Summit of the Future and the 79th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 79) in New York. He will hold working sessions in the US and later pay a State visit to Cuba.

Party General Secretary and President To Lam will have a working trip in the U.S. and pay a state visit to Cuba from Sept. 21 to 27.
