HYDE PARK — State Police identified the woman found dead last month at Vanderbilt Mansion as 69-year-old Helen Pardini of Poughkeepsie. For a month, the case has vexed police and the public.

Pardini's body was discovered by a hiker near the east shore of the Hudson River at the Vanderbilt Mansion in early December.
