INDIANAPOLIS — A 17-year-old boy was recently taken into custody after he shot and killed a dog on Indy's near northeast side. On Jan. 23, Indianapolis Animal Care Services contacted the IMPD Nuisance and Abatement Unit on a report of a dog being shot in the 3700 block of Hillside Avenue, near 38th Street and North Keystone Avenue.
