Police have arrested a teenager on suspicion of sending online abuse to Arsenal forward Kai Havertz’s pregnant wife. Hertfordshire Police said on Tuesday that “a 17-year-old-boy from St Albans has been arrested on suspicion of malicious communications”.

Police say a teenager has been arrested in connection with the online abuse sent to the wife of Arsenal forward Kai Havertz.

Kai Havertz scored once and assisted another as Arsenal smashed Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday night, as reports emerged that the Gunners are eyeing a move for Benjamin Sesko

The messages came after Havertz missed a shoot-out penalty and open-play chances against Manchester United in the FA Cup.
