Kyogo has lifted the lid on his decision to leave Celtic for Rennes. His transfer from the Scottish Premiership champions to the Ligue 1 strugglers was made official this afternoon.

Celtic have secured Jota on a five-and-a-half-year contract after the Portuguese winger swapped places with Kyogo Furuhashi. The 25-year-old has completed his move from Rennes 18 months after leaving Celtic in a reported £25million move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad.

Kyogo Furuhashi has officially left Celtic, joining French Ligue 1 side Rennes on a permanent basis. The striker made 186 appearances for the Parkhead side, contributing to 104 goals along the way. He won eight major trophies in Glasgow's east end, including a treble under previous manager Ange Postecoglou.
