Digital collectible card game 'Marvel Snap' was shut down in the U.S., a casualty of the government ban targeting TikTok.

In a statement, developers Second Dinner and publisher Nuverse said the game was unexpectedly impacted by the takedown of TikTok on Saturday, Jan. 18.

Marvel Snap has now been banned in the US alongside TikTok, thanks to an association with the social media platform's parent company ByteDance, catching players off guard.

Many players, including myself, were shocked to find out that Marvel Snap is no longer accessible in the United States. It is published by Nuverse, a company ow
