A teenager is facing murder charges in connection with a deadly shooting in Jamaica Plain last year. 18-year-old Jason Douglas of Quincy is slated to be arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court. on charges of murder, possession of a large capacity feeding device, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, and unlawful possession of ammunition.

On Jan. 9, Vermilion County State's Attorney Jacqueline Lacy announced that new evidence was found in the shooting of Joseph Jones that negated the evidence against Derrell L Boston. Murder charges against Boston have been dismissed.
