A frustrated C.J. Stroud placed the blame on himself and the offense for the second-half woes that sunk the Texans in their loss to the Lions on Sunday night.

Houston's defense did its part in forcing turnovers, hence Lions quarterback Jared Goff 's five interceptions. But Stroud and Houston's offense failed to fully capitalize on Detroit's errors. Stroud finished the game with 232 passing yards and a touchdown on 19-of-33 completions while also getting sacked four times for a loss of 40 yards.

Houston offensive line coach Chris Strausser seems just as perplexed as fans as to why the team's pass protection has fallen off a cliff in 2024.
