James Gunn has revealed his incredible workload in response to a fan on Threads. The DC Studios head was asked about how he was balancing work on Superman and Peacemaker season 2 with pre-production on a whole host of other DC projects.

According to Bloody-Disgusting, the late Return of the Living Dead actors James Karen and Don Calfa will appear in Linnea Quigley’s meta-sequel, Trash’s Revenge, “with the magic of CGI.” In response to a fan on Threads (via Screen Rant ), James Gunn confirmed he’s now “pre-writing” his next DCU project after Superman and Peacemaker season two.

There you have it. While he was really hustling while directing Superman, it sounds like he's able to successfully write while balancing other responsibilities as the head of the studio. Of course, now I jut want to know what writing project he's in the process of pre-writing.

Both those projects were helmed by James Gunn, who also made Creature Commandos, has his Superman movie coming this summer on the 2025 movies schedule, and is running DC Studios with producer Peter Safran.
