Hundreds of Bay Area singles aged 18–35 took a 2-hour roundtrip ride from downtown Berkeley to the Mission District and back.

The deadly stampede happened while thousands of people were gathered at a railway station in India's capital of New Delhi, waiting to board a train to the site of a festival in northern India.

Tens of thousands of people will descend on San Francisco this Saturday to enjoy the annual Chinese New Year Parade that kicks off early that evening.
