Season two of the Spencer Carbery era gets underway on Oct. 12 when Washington opens up its 50th anniversary season at Capital One Arena against the New Jersey Devils.

The Capitals will hold on-ice sessions at McMullen Hockey Arena, located near the campus of the United States Naval Academy, from Friday, Sept. 13 to Monday, Sept. 16.

Scoring goals isn’t getting any easier, according to Washington Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin. The 39-year-old started his 20th NHL training camp on Thursday with his eyes set on Wayne Gretzky’s NHL goal-scoring record.
