The National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory at 8:18 p.m. on Tuesday valid from Wednesday 4 a.m. until Thursday 4 a.m. for Westmoreland Ridges and Fayette Ridges.

Winter storm warnings were in place for seven states across the country from the National Weather Service (NWS) early on Monday, with up to 17 inches of snow forecast in some areas. A winter weather advisory was also in place from the NWS for parts of Utah at the time of writing.

A winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 1:28 p.m. valid from Wednesday 7 a.m. until Thursday 7 a.m. for McKean County.
