I found another thread on r/pcgaming that listed two commands a way of getting not only this game running in Borderless, but also all source engine games (these being the commands "-window -noborder").
Is Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines worth playing is it good?
Bloodlines has the perfect mix of writing, atmosphere and characterization, though it is buggy, kinda grimdark, and heavily leans on combat near the end of the game. One or two of the dungeons can be a chore too.

Just got Bloodlines from GOG. What are essential mods for
Jan 20, 2023 · Other advice real quick, GOG updates VTMB maybe once a year when Wesp has a release candidate, so since save files are not transferable from one patch to the other, I'd highly suggest going into the settings for the game in GOG Galaxy and disabling auto-updates for it so you don't lose your save whenever the new version of the patch drops.
