Get the fungal growth and dry grass first. The Red Ant Eggs have a hatching timer. So you can't store them or they will hatch in your base or even from inside your backpack. To get the Red Ants to make more eggs, you have to decimate their population then, wait a day. Drawing in an enemy is a good way to do some serious damage.

You can only use it to make Omelant, can't make bombs with it. Fire ant eggs also exist, it can be stolen using rascal rogue or sticky fingers trinket.

Step 1: Go to the ant hills, kill every ant in there. Step 2: when your done killing everything, look at the time. Ant hill respawn every 48hrs(2days ingame).
