Aug 15, 2020 · All Model Y I have seen have a slight mistmatch. I have one of them and it also depends on the lightning and angle. I brought my car to Tesla and they told me this is very specific to the model Y. To my knowledge, all Model Y have this issue. This is not as bad as with the Model 3 but still slightly noticeable.

Mar 21, 2020 · Well in my delivery slot there was only one other Model Y lined up. There was a Model X and a few Model 3 Performances in white. Tampa has a large parking garage so idk what was parked out of my sight.

Jun 23, 2021 · Loving the blue. Darker = easier to hide the bugs, not so OCD annoying. But darker also = harder to keep clean overall, need to wash more often. I was leaning towards white to hide most of that, but I was not happy with the white Tesla model 3 cars I had seen around, white looked different shades when compare bumpers to trunk, doors, etc.

Jul 24, 2019 · Tesla Pearl White is tough to match. A few years ago Tesla had discontinued the Pearl White touch-up, but I guess it is back on the market. They had tried matching a trunk hatch at the center before delivery back in 2020 and could never get it correctly, the touch-up paint was more a cream color than white.

Feb 3, 2017 · Actually I like a dark gray cap (Tesla OEM for Model 3) better than silver. I surveyed many other brands, like Mercedes and VW, many of them use contrast center cap and looks more luxurious. This image was posted in another thread, but I don't know how to put a link yet.
