Could this be a modem/ router problem? We use the xfinity modem and it's the only thing that hasn't been picked over with a fine tooth comb.

I cancelled my Home subscription and kept the $10 fee for recording and moved to Self Protect when I added the Xfinity video doorbell. I don’t honestly miss the Home protection or the touchscreen.

Aug 10, 2017 · Reset Xfinity Home Station. Carefully place the Xfinity Home Station face down and remove the stand by gently pulling it up. Remove the battery cover by gently pulling towards the bottom of the screen. Remove the battery and unplug the power cord. Wait 10 seconds and replace the battery and plug in the power cord. This will restart the touchscreen.

Jun 3, 2022 · I had a similar issue a year or two ago with a motion sensor. Had to replace a battery, which tripped the tamper sensor. After searching the internet turns out you basically need to delete and readd the sensor to the entire system. This would be easy if Xfinity didn't lock that ability behind a code that's only valid for 24 hours.
