Feb 26, 2024 · The xfinity cameras will only work with Xfinity app or the Home app. You can have a different router now. I cancelled my Home subscription and kept the $10 fee for recording and moved to Self Protect when I added the Xfinity video doorbell. I don’t honestly miss the Home protection or the touchscreen.

Dec 17, 2024 · After two days of fighting with Xfinity automated system, I was able to get hold of a real person who directed me to the Xfinity home security department. The number is 877-709-8831. When I called this number, it was fairly easy to connect to a live agent.

Aug 22, 2024 · Just got 2 alarm monitoring calls to my number in regards to my mothers Xfinity Home service ...when I get there, there is no audible alarm going off at all and she had no idea that anything was evening happening. She never even got a call from Xfinity, they only called me and I'm the back up person on the system.

Jul 26, 2023 · The tech that was there yesterday thought we had it beat but alas, when my wife left for work this morning, sure enough I get a notification through the Home app saying the system was armed stay. Could this be a modem/ router problem? We use the xfinity modem and it's the only thing that hasn't been picked over with a fine tooth comb.
