As of 1/14/25 NBC Sports Boston and New England Sports Network were moved to the Ultimate TV package. We pay programmers like networks, local TV station owners, regional sports network (RSN) owners and others for the ability to bring their content to customers, and this includes sports programming.

Jan 10, 2025 · NBC Sports Boston and New England Sports Network for our North Division customers will move from the Popular TV, Extra, Sports & News genre pack, and Starter Latino TV to the Ultimate TV package. This means customers who don’t subscribe to the Ultimate TV package will not be able to view this programming officially as of January 14, 2025.

Oct 6, 2024 · On September 30, 2024, NBC Sports Chicago will cease operations and no longer be available. The games that were previously available on NBC Sports Chicago will now air on a new channel called Chicago Sports Network, which Xfinity does not currently carry.

Jan 31, 2024 · I would also like to think that Comcast/Xfinity cares about their viewers. If I'm not able to view NBC shows in SD format OnDemand, then I should be due a refund of what I'm paying on a monthly basis, and it should be taken out of what is sent on to NBC. Or maybe Comcast/Xfinity would rather people dump cable and just go to all streaming.

Comcast has sent techs to my home twice and BOTH claimed to have put in a ticket to have someone with the right tools needed to come and check the weak signal issues coming into my box. Feb 19, 2024 · My Xfinity Stream app suddenly has lost access to local channels such as ABC and NBC ( maybe more ) on an Amazon Fire TV. These channels have always been available on this TV before but now are gone for some reason. If I try to click on them, I get a message "Please connect to your in-home WiFi". This only happens on this one TV.
